Dear Parents,

I just wanted to remind you of a couple of very important details regarding the youth ministry at Lenexa Baptist. 

You should have received a letter in the mail about Disciple Now.  I wanted to send and extra encouragement to attend the Parent Workshop, Saturday, March 27, 2010, 8:30-11:30 am.  As you heard in our Pastor's Vision Sermon, there is a strong emphasis on families this year at LBC.  The workshop is a big part of that.  It's going to be lots of fun, inspiring, and a great chance to connect with other parents of youth.  I can't say enough good things about our guest speak Ted Burden.  You will enjoy the morning and possibly win a great prize for your family.

Also, next Wednesday, March 17, 2010 is the deadline to sign your teenager up for Disciple Now.  Please encourage them to attend!  It's going to be a great weekend.  We've made a lot of changes we think the students will love this year.  Lots more interaction with each other.  You can download a registration form at our new high school site, www.lenexabaptisths.com.  As always, please encourage your teenager to invite a friend!
